These three and four bedroom single-family homes have all the features of a traditional home and allow relocating families who want to experience the Harvest lifestyle to try before buying.
A Safer Community Fosters Freedom to Play & Explore

Lower crime rates and a quieter, slower pace of life have made smaller suburban towns very popular alternatives to the big city for families moving to DFW. Most small towns and suburban communities have less crime overall and little to no violent crime. The cities of Argyle and Northlake, where Harvest is located, are no exception. When it comes to safety and crime, both receive a grade of A from Areavibes.com for property crime, violent crime, and total crime rates, which is far below the national average.

Safety was baked right into the design of Harvest. With short blocks, wide sidewalks and loads of trails, the community is built for walking and biking safely around the neighborhood and to and from the amenities. In the early morning, you’ll see dozens of Harvest kids walking and biking to the on-site schools. And in the afternoon, you’ll see them coming home again, or heading to a friend’s house, to the Fun Fields, the Harvest Farm, the playground, or one of the community’s other amenities.

When the onset of the pandemic curtailed organized afterschool activities, some parents at new home communities allowed their children more freedom to roam within their neighborhoods. Because of its safety-minded design and the strong sense of community among residents, parents tend to feel comfortable letting their kids be kids at Harvest: free to enjoy unstructured time outside with their peers. The high level of community involvement, the integration of two schools into the neighborhood, and greater familiarity with their neighbors gives Harvest parents more peace of mind to give their children a measure of age-appropriate independence.

Great Local Schools to Educate Our Future

The real estate leaders at Hillwood Communities design new home communities to meet the desires of today’s discerning homeowners. That makes strong local schools a must. Homebuyers, both with and without children alike, know a location in a good school district means a home is likely to hold its value or appreciate. That’s why Hillwood’s new home communities are zoned to good schools and why our planners work diligently with districts to have an elementary school built within the community.

Depending on their home’s location, Harvest children go to school in either Argyle ISD or Northwest ISD. Both of these acclaimed school districts earn high satisfaction ratings with parents, have high graduation and retention rates, and received accountability ratings of A for the most recently evaluated school year.

Both of these school districts have built elementary schools within the Harvest community, and Harvest parents could not be happier about it! Families in the Northwest ISD send their youngsters to Lance Thompson Elementary. Children in the Argyle ISD attend Argyle West Elementary and will attend an Argyle ISD middle school on the Harvest grounds in the future!

Private school is another great option for Harvest families. Liberty Christian School, for grades pre-k-12th, is well known for its high academic standards and the success of its graduates. Liberty Christian School uses the biblically based ABeka curriculum and offers younger students many choices for enrichment in a wide range of music, language, art, PE, and science classes.

Parents of the littlest children can explore the Goddard School which offers early childhood education, enrichment programs, and childcare for infants through pre-kindergarten age.
