No matter the weather, we still celebrate together at Harvest! Rain or shine, our seasonal gatherings brought us together all year ‘round.
During the winter, we hit the ice, walked through a Winter Wonderland, and even enjoyed a snowball fight. Summer kicked off with a bang, bringing an 80s Prom Murder Mystery and pool parties for young and old. From the enchanting Daddy Daughter Dance and the laughter-filled Family Fun Night, to the creative Pumpkin Painting with Harvest Littles and Oktoberfest, each event was a testament to our unwavering spirit of community.
2023 was a year where each season was not just celebrated, but shared in the true spirit of giving and compassion. The Freezin’ for a Reason Polar Plunge, the Hoops 4 Hunger event with our sister community Pecan Square, and the impactful TAFB food drive with our on-site elementary schools showcased our commitment to making a difference, one event at a time.
At Harvest, we believe our community’s local heroes deserve to be celebrated, and 2023 offered plenty of opportunities to celebrate. Events like the Junior Firefighter Camp, the Harvest Veterans Group breakfast meeting, and community-wide recognition during National EMS Week were our humble salutes to the bravery and service of these inspiring individuals.
The year was overflowing with opportunities for learning, creativity, and pure fun. Whether it was the educational Landscaping Workshop with Dr. Moon, taking a gardening class with Farmer Ross at the Harvest Farms, establishing healthier habits at the Health Fair, getting creative at the Candle Workshop, or learning a new step or two at Line Dancing Lessons, the chance to challenge ourselves and learn new things alongside our neighbors was a highlight for many this year.
Nothing brings folks together like holiday cheer, and no place does it better than Harvest. Whether it was combing the Harvest grounds to find some of the 25,000 Easter Eggs hidden during the Easter EGGStravaganza, enjoying the parade during our Independence Day celebration, or dressing up in inventive costumes for the Family Halloween Party, Harvest residents went all-in on festive memory-making this year.
At Harvest, our lifestyle program truly is the heartbeat of our community, earning accolades and admiration for its commitment to enriching lives. Just this year, Harvest was honored with six National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Nationals Awards, including Silver Awards for Master Planned Community of the Year and Lifestyle Director of the Year, and the coveted Gold Award for Lifestyle Program of the Year.
